Our Language Tree school location

Language Tree is based on the Penryn Campus at Falmouth University — a modern, welcoming university campus in the heart of Cornwall. As the only British Council accredited language school in the region, we offer a truly unique learning experience that combines high-quality teaching with rich cultural immersion.

Unlike big city schools, our location gives you the chance to connect with the specific identity of Cornwall — a county known for its deep roots in maritime history, mining heritage, and creative arts. From pirates and explorers to its role in the Industrial Revolution, Cornwall’s fascinating past is an integral part of your learning journey.

A creative and active lifestyle

Cornwall’s dramatic coastline and rolling countryside make it a dream destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Whether it’s surfing, hiking, football, or beach BBQs, we love getting outside with our students and making the most of the fresh Cornish air.

This region is also a cultural treasure, long admired by writers, painters, and performers. You’ll find world-famous spots like the Minack Theatre and St Michael’s Mount, as well as grassroots creative organisations like Miracle Theatre, The Cornish Bank, and Leach Pottery.

Life on campus and in Falmouth

Our courses take place on the Penryn Campus, which offers excellent facilities, modern classrooms, and a friendly student atmosphere. Falmouth itself is a vibrant seaside town full of creativity, independent shops, local food, and a busy events calendar.

The town’s strong links to Falmouth University mean it’s a hub for the arts — making it an inspiring place to live and learn. From here, you’ll take part in weekly excursions that help you explore all corners of the county and practise your English in real-world situations.
