Our Junior Summer School is perfect for teenagers aged 13-17 looking for a summer of adventure and fun while also improving their English! Based in Cornwall, one of the UK’s most beautiful regions, Language Tree offers brilliant language holidays where young people can develop their skills and confidence. English (EFL) classes each morning (15 hours per week) in small groups, followed by exciting afternoon activities and cultural excursions. Learn to surf and enjoy a wide range of watersports. Residential accommodation on a beautiful university campus. British Council accredited.

Building confidence and independence

Our Junior Summer School helps students grow in confidence, make international friends, and enjoy new experiences in a safe, supportive environment. While your teenagers study with us, parents can relax knowing their children are in the care of experienced staff. Throughout their time with us, our Junior Summer School students get to enjoy a structured programme that helps to develop their confidence and independence.

Afternoon activities and cultural excursions

Our afternoons and evenings are packed with variety and adventure. Each day, after lunch, there will be surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, coasteering, football, tennis, cycling, and beach games.

Our cultural excursions include Cornwall’s best, such as The Eden Project, St Ives, Falmouth, Land’s End and the incredible outdoor theatre at The Minack. Every experience is designed to be enjoyable, social, and a chance to practise English in real-life situations.

In the evenings, there are always relaxed social activities with indoor and outdoor options on campus.

All our Summer School programmes include: 15 hours per week of English (EFL) language classes, excursions and activities offered every day, daily sporting and cultural activities including surfing lessons, plus fun evening activities for residential students.
