Who we are & what we offer

Language Tree is a small, independent language school that has been offering its special course programmes in Cornwall since 2008.

We specialise in immersive summer courses where language learning goes way beyond the classroom. Cornwall is our home county and it gives us immense pride and satisfaction to welcome international here and to show them all the best things about this special region of the UK.

All our courses are taught using a communicative approach, designed to develop real-life language skills through engaging lessons and interactive activities. These conversations continue outside the classroom where your teachers and our activity leaders are your guides for our immersive activity and excursion programme.

Where we teach & why Cornwall

Each summer, our programmes run from the Penryn Campus at Falmouth University — a modern, well-equipped university campus that provides spacious classrooms with modern teaching technology. Plus, there is the dining room with its friendly catering team who prepare all our meals as well as the comfortable residential accommodation with en-suite bathrooms. With sports facilities on site too, it is the perfect place to study in Cornwall.

Falmouth itself is a vibrant coastal town with a fascinating maritime history. It’s home to the National Maritime Museum and has evolved into a lively student town with a flourishing arts and culture scene. Studying here means experiencing authentic British life in a safe, inspiring location.
