Join our British Council accredited International Junior Summer School for teenagers in one of the UK’s most beautiful regions. Students aged 13-17 enjoy 15 hours of English (EFL) classes each week in small groups, followed by exciting afternoon activities and cultural excursions. Choose between residential accommodation on campus or staying with one of our carefully approved hosts families.

Our Junior Summer School helps students grow in confidence, make international friends, and enjoy new experiences in a safe, supportive environment. While your teenagers study with us, parents can relax knowing their children are in the care of experienced staff. Throughout their time with us, our Junior Summer School students get to enjoy a structured programme that helps to develop their confidence and independence.

Afternoon activities and cultural excursions

Our afternoons and evenings are packed with variety and adventure. Active options include surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, coasteering, football, tennis, cycling, and beach games. Relaxed social activities include BBQs and 10-pin bowling. Cultural excursions showcase Cornwall’s best, such as St Ives & Tate St Ives, the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, Porthcurno’s Telegraph Museum, outdoor theatre at The Minack Theatre, and the world-famous Eden Project. Every experience is designed to be enjoyable, social, and a chance to practise English in real-life situations.
