Join our British Council accredited International Junior Summer School for teenagers in one of the UK’s most beautiful regions. Students aged 13-17 enjoy 15 hours of English (EFL) classes each week in small groups, followed by exciting afternoon activities and cultural excursions. Choose between residential accommodation on campus or staying with one of our carefully approved hosts families.

Building confidence and independence

Our Junior Summer School helps students grow in confidence, make international friends, and enjoy new experiences in a safe, supportive environment. While your teenagers study with us, parents can relax knowing their children are in the care of experienced staff. Throughout their time with us, our Junior Summer School students get to enjoy a structured programme that helps to develop their confidence and independence.

Afternoon activities and cultural excursions

Our afternoons and evenings are packed with variety and adventure. Each day, after lunch, there will be surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, coasteering, football, tennis, cycling, and beach games.

Our cultural excursions include Cornwall’s best, such as The Eden Project, St Ives, Falmouth, Land’s End and the incredible outdoor theatre at The Minack. Every experience is designed to be enjoyable, social, and a chance to practise English in real-life situations.

In the evenings, there are always relaxed social activities with indoor and outdoor options on campus.

All our Summer School courses include: 15 hours per week of English (EFL) language classes, excursions and activities offered every day, daily sporting and cultural activities including surfing lessons, plus fun evening activities for residential students.
