Junior Summer School in Cornwall
July & August 2024

Language Tree is an independent, British Council accredited language school with many years of experience delivering summer school programmes for teenagers.
We welcome individuals, school groups and families on our amazing Junior Summer School programme for students aged 13-17.

Our focus is to provide the best summer programme of English (EFL) lessons, sporting activities and cultural excursions for international teenagers to enjoy.
Our Summer School is the perfect way for teenagers to develop their independence and language skills while meeting new friends from around the world.
We work with two fantastic venues to deliver our Summer School programmes.
Our younger students will study at Truro High School and our older students will study on the Falmouth University campus. Both these venues are perfect for the different age groups to enjoy. We offer residential accommodation on both campuses and we can also offer host family accommodation within our network of carefully approved host families.
On all our summer programmes, our students will study in international groups with students of a similar age and level.

Cornwall is the perfect destination for young people
It is one of the safest parts of England away from the big cities that are too busy.
In Cornwall, everything is about being outside enjoying the fresh air and lots of sporting activities. The region is full of fantastic cultural attractions and beaches for watersports and summer BBQs.
All our summer programmes include:
- 15 hours of English classes per week – small groups with a maximum of 12 students per class
- Daily afternoon activities and excursions with our great team of English teachers and activity leaders
- 3 x 1/2 day excursions per week
- Full day excursion on Saturdays
- Host family or residential accommodation (residential accommodation is normally for groups only)
- Full board – all meals provided including meals out on excursions
- Airport transfers on arrival and departure to Newquay, Bristol & Heathrow airports
- Official Course Offer Letters and all consent paperwork required for under 18s coming to the UK.

Our prices include everything, there are no hidden costs.
Above and beyond all the features of our courses, our key aim is to provide a safe and happy holiday for teenagers to feel comfortable using English while meeting new friends from around the world.
Our qualified teachers will ensure the English classes are fun but also communicative and students will have lots of opportunities to use and develop their English.
In the afternoons, we make the most of everything Cornwall has to offer. We ensure students enjoy the best activities and excursions possible, creating holiday memories that will last a lifetime.
Our typical afternoon activities include: surfing, SUP, coasteering, 10-pin bowling, football, tennis, cycling and beach games and BBQs. You can get more information about our watersports activities from our partners Elemental UK, Shore Surf & St Ives Surf School who we use for many of our watersports activities.
During your programme you will go on cultural excursions to: St Ives and Tate St Ives, Falmouth and the National Maritime Museum, Porthcurno and the Telegraph Museum, outdoor theatre at The Minack Theatre, plus the world famous Eden Project.

Reviews & testimonials
Our son, had a wonderful time in the school!
The personal care makes the difference.
Language Tree is not that typical impersonal giant language school, as many others.
