Summer School for independent teenagers (a parent’s review)

Elisabeth is a 15 year old student from France. She attended a 2-week summer camp in Cornwall to improve her English, experience British culture and enjoy a holiday adventure as an independent teenager wanting to meet other people of a similar age from other countries from around the world.

Day 1 – Arrival & Orientation

Arrival and welcome at the school
Tour of the town and local surroundings
Icebreaker session and welcome dinner with fellow students

Day 2 – Practical English & Local Life

Morning lessons: Everyday English and introductions

Day 3 – Exploring the Coast

Grammar and speaking session in the morning

Bastian & Theresa are working professionals from Germany. They joined Language Tree for our 2-week Language Experience (Bildungsurlaub) programme. Accredited in various states in Germany, this language and culture programme is designed to improve language skills and confidence for working professionals. Monika’s Family Summer Camp with her son

Monika is a parent from Poland who joined Language Tree with her 12-year-old son. They enrolled on a 2-week Family Summer Camp to enjoy a family holiday together while also improving their English. Monika wanted a programme where she could develop her professional English skills with other adults while knowing her son was also developing his English skills with kids his age. The camp provided a perfect opportunity for them to share a holiday together while also getting to hang out with other people of a similar age. They enjoyed some activities together and other separately.
