Country houses & gardens

At the start of the Industrial Revolution and during the height of the British Empire, Cornwall had great strategic importance due to its mineral wealth and maritime harbours such as Falmouth.

During this time, for those who benefited from this wealth, they built magnificent houses and gardens that can still be enjoyed today. The sub-tropical climate in Cornwall is perfect for magical gardens where plants from around the world can flourish.

Houses and gardens like Lanhydrock, Trelissick and Glendurgan are some of our favourites that we will introduce you to.
